In 2019, the IFLE team visited 9 countries involved in the project to meet partners, visit cultural venues, train French teachers and host a series of events.
In 2020, the team is back on the road, starting with Martinique earlier this month. This first visit to a French Caribbean territory was the opportunity to meet with cultural partners, including the Paul Gauguin Center and the Clement Foundation.
These partners will support the roll out the IFLE VAPA Program and provide opportunities for the laureates of the program. Other francophone cultural organisations in Martinique, French Guiana, Luxemburg, among others, have been contacted and will also assist the IFLE team.
Next up are St Kitts & Nevis and St Lucia. Stay tuned!
